As part of the project “Let’s Sail into STEM Waters – A Ticket to 2030”, we aim to reverse the declining interest in STEM fields and natural sciences. Integrating environmental topics into STEM education is a crucial step toward a sustainable future and effectively addressing challenges that threaten marine and river ecosystems. These include issues such as wastewater pollution (eutrophication), marine and river litter, coastal infill, temperature rise, and ocean acidification. Through the organization of workshops and public events, the project will foster children’s interest in science.
The project’s goal is to strengthen the capacities of civil society organizations through training, designing, and implementing STEM workshops and public events for children. These activities aim to spark interest and promote a positive attitude toward STEM among children and youth.
A detailed schedule of activities and event locations is published on our website and social media channels every third of the month. We invite you to follow us and join our STEM adventures!
