The Sunce Association has recognized the Strategic Planning as an extremely important tool for organizational development and the building of a culture of learning organization. The current planning has been conducted in three-year cycles, while the last strategic plan has been developed for the five-year period from 2011 to 2016.
Since it was designed for a longer, five year period, it was envisaged to review its implementation during 2013/2014. years. However, in 2014, we started the process of external evaluation of the Work of the Association for the ten-year period from 2005 to 2015, led by external consultant Marina Škrabalo. This evaluation has been used as a tool for reviewing the implementation of the applicable Plan and the basis for a new strategic planning cycle.
By entering into the strategic planning process in 2015, our intention was to prepare and coordinate with Europe 2020 and all the other changes that took place at national and international level.
Strategic planning included a workshop held in Rogač on the island of Šolta on August 31 and on September 1 and 2, 2015. The workshop was held in consultation with Nataša Škrbić, consultant for the public and non-profit sector.
