Last Friday, on February 26th, along the old Napoleon road between Knin and Kijevo and along the river Krčić, despite the wind and the rain, a ceremonial opening of the educational-interpretation trail “Krčić” was held. The track was set up as part of the project “Nature of Dalmatia” jointly implemented by the Sunce Association, the Ecological Association “Krka” Knin and three public institutions for protected natural values, namely Šibenik-Knin, Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

The trail is 10.5 km long and stretches along the canyon of Krčić River. Along with the already existing infrastructure, there were 5 educational info boards set up as well as signaling signs, three interpreting games and two sitting sets. As part of the opening, the book “Be Natural Be Active” was presented, which aims to promote attractive areas of three counties and active tourism as such. In addition to the path through the project, there will be two info kiosks set up in the city of Knin, one on the main town square and one on the Knin Fortress.
