The Association Sunce organized a seminar on “Active participation of young people in the protection of nature and the environment and sustainable development” in March 2014. The participants of the seminar were students (FFST, KTF, BEM and EFST) and young unemployed persons, and the workshops involved 21 participants.

The aim of the seminar was to educate young people, motivate them and encourage environmentally responsible behavior and active citizenship.

The seminar for young people consisted of 3 one-day workshops and 1 two-day workshop with the following topics:

The youth seminar is part of the two-year project “Participate in Sustainable Development” of the Association for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development Sunce. The project is implemented in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Umwelterziehung (DGU) German institution and is funded by the German Foundation Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU).
