We celebrated Earth Day!

The Association Sunce Split celebrated Earth Day’s 51st Anniversary by setting up a stand on Split’s Riva where citizens could join the Association Sunce Split for free and receive one of the apposite gifts – “meadow flower seeds bombs” and aromatic plant seedlings!

Interested citizens were greeted at the stand by our volunteers of the European Solidarity Corps, Sofia and Ivana, with a handful of information on composting, waste and sustainable living. Parsley, basil seedlings and “seed bombs” are also their work and contribution.

We also announced the winners of this year’s competition, in which participated primary and secondary school students and children from kindergartens in the Split area. Traditionally, the best work authors were awarded with gift packages of the Association Sunce Split and educational excursions.
