Also, Association Sunce employees will participate in the celebration of the European Week of Sustainable Development on May 31, 2019.
Workshops are planned for the children of the kindergarten Biokovsko zvonce and for lower grade students of two primary schools from Makarska: the Elementary School of Father Petar Perica and the Elementary School of Stjepan Ivičević. They aim to raise awareness of the importance of responsible waste management among their citizens, with an emphasis on waste prevention, separate waste collection, the importance of home composting and reusing, all in order to reduce waste.
Students will also have a competition scheduled for the fall, and the works will be presented at the Opportunity Fair. The main prizes and gifts and thanks for participation are provided for the winners.
