Pandora Greenbox is a vegan restaurant known for its rich plant-based menu, cozy atmosphere, and signature green interior. Besides promoting a diet that significantly reduces environmental impact, Pandora Greenbox prioritizes locally grown and seasonal ingredients. Sunce members receive 10% off the entire menu.

Makarun is a legendary restaurant located in the heart of Split. Famous for its delicious homemade dishes, Makarun also stands out for its zero-waste cooking concept, which greatly reduces food waste. During our visit, we saw their sustainable practices firsthand: using fish and shrimp trimmings for broth, and repurposing lemon, beet, and cheese scraps for plate decorations. Sunce members receive 20% off the entire menu.

Sustainable living

Pero® is a Croatian brand of eco-friendly cleaning products made with at least 85% locally sourced ingredients and certified by Ecocert for quality and sustainability. We love their pero®zero line with refill packs that dissolve in water, drastically cutting down on plastic use. Sunce members get 15% off all orders via their online shop.

Kalklitir is a family-owned Icelandic company specializing in eco-friendly powdered lime paints made from natural materials and pigments. Shipping in powder form reduces transport costs and the company’s carbon footprint. Sunce members receive 20% off online orders.

At Sunce, we actively promote sustainable waste management and educate communities on this issue. Composting plays a key role by turning organic waste into nutrient-rich soil, reducing the need for chemical fertilizers. Jelena Bikić, founder of the brand ILLIRICA, spent years developing products inspired by cultural heritage, the natural beauty of the region, and deep respect for the environment and community through her previous brand SILVAN. Together with a team of experts, Jelena developed targeted formulations for mature skin, based on extracts of the most valued Mediterranean plants. Like Sunce, ILLIRICA nurtures a responsible attitude toward nature and encourages the community toward more sustainable choices. And in your free time…

Miljenko Dujić, a long-time Sunce volunteer and owner of the brand Uručak, holds hand-building clay workshops in his Split studio. Creative hobbies such as clay modeling are relaxing, spark creativity, and bring balance into daily life. Sunce members receive a 10% discount on Miljenko’s clay workshops. To obtain the discount, you must send your membership card when booking via social media. The discount applies to one person only.

You can also use your free time to practice public speaking and presentation skills—competencies useful in every sphere of life, from work presentations and job interviews to everyday communication. Pinija Poljaković can help you with this. A sociologist by education, a host by experience, and a public- and media-speaking trainer by calling, Pinija has nearly two decades of experience behind a microphone, in front of a camera, and on stage. Her trainings—attended by more than 850 people to date—empower participants to overcome stage fright, gain clarity and confidence, and improve their presentation skills. Sunce members receive 10% discount on individual public-speaking training sessions with Pinija.

The Natural History museum Split is one of the oldest cultural and educational institutions in Split, founded in 1924. The museum preserves over 150,000 items and rich paleontological, zoological, and botanical collections, and offers educational programs for children and adults. Near the museum, on Marjan Hill, is the Zoo, which today hosts indigenous and traditional breeds of domestic animals and is developing into an open-air educational center. Sunce members receive a 20% discount on printed magazines, books, and catalogues published by the Museum, as well as a 20% discount on children’s birthday celebrations at the museum or Zoo (the discount applies when the parent, guardian, or organizer is a Sunce member).
