At the Reef Festival in Komiža on the island of Vis, held in July 2021 as part of the Interreg IT-CRO, ADRIREEF project, we set up educational panels about coralligen at 10 points in the town center. With the help of educational panels, the children played the game “Search for Answers”, which revealed to them interesting facts that the ridges of the Adriatic hide.
Our associates have transferred the exhibition to an online form through which you can now find out briefly, but most important facts about coralligen, its significance, role and purpose.
You can see the online exhibition “Search for Answers” at the link -> HERE (available in Croatian only).
You can also download and share the exhibition on your own social networks.
ADRIREEF aims to examine the potentiality of reefs in the Adriatic Sea in order to strengthen the Blue Economy. The term „blue economy“ refers to the sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods, and jobs while preserving the health of ocean ecosystem. Along with specific regulations and frequent monitoring, the project will therefore open concrete possibility to protect the environment and create new economic activities.

We invite you to protect our underwater world and to leave a minimal footprint in your marine activities.
