The Association Sunce and BIOM seminar was held

As announced earlier this month, under the umbrella of Sunce and BIOM, on March 9, 2017, at the Hotel Panorama in Zagreb, a seminar on “Public participation in protected areas” was held under the IPA “Responsible for nature” project. The project is funded by the European Union and co-financed by the Office for Governmental organizations and supported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy.
The seminar was attended by 60 participants attending 11 trainers from civil society organizations, public institutions, HAOPs and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, who presented the issues of public participation from their perspectives.

At the seminar itself, there was an atmosphere of cooperation and exchange of positive experiences and new ideas were born in the course of lectures, which is a great pleasure for us.

While the first part of the seminar was devoted to lectures and exchange of experiences, in the second part of the seminar participants gave recommendations for better public participation through the World Cafe method.

At the beginning of April, more precisely on 6 April 2017, the topic of public participation will be held again in the same place, this time for lower administrative units, ie for regional self-government units. Places and number of participants are limited and for more information contact [email protected].
