Within the framework of the national campaign, Croatia Volunteers 2014, the celebration of the Volunteer Day, traditionally organized by the MI Association, was held on May 24, 2014 in Đardin, Split, with a number of associations presenting their work and activities in about thirty booths but also offering numerous products made by their volunteers.

Although the cloudy and rainy day was announced, the sun welcomed the participants and numerous visitors who wanted to get acquainted with the work of the Split associations.

The Sunce Association presented its publications, and the sale of canvas bags supported a joint action to buy two sewing machines and a steam iron for the needs of the League for Addiction Prevention. Part of the funds, donated by the visitors, will assist the flooded areas in Croatia and Sunce will double it and pass it on to the Red Cross account to help the flood victims.
