A total of 126 volunteer hours were done, and 15 meters of dry stone walls, 2 paths, an educational board and a sub-wall with a bench that will serve as a rest area were renovated.

VOLUNTEER FOR NATURE, VOLUNTEER FOR YOURSELF! – school volunteer programs in protected areas of nature is a project that promotes and encourages the implementation of school volunteering programs in protected areas of nature and includes work on the development of social skills among young people. After a series of 3 educational workshops, our young volunteers began to actively participate in volunteer actions. So far, two have already been done, and actions are waiting for them in the Telašćica Nature Park and the Vrana Lake Nature Park. Each action has its own specifics, so young people will acquire different knowledge, skills and values related to volunteering, nature and sustainable development.

Sunce as the project coordinator for 24 months, in addition to the already mentioned partners, cooperates with the Public Institution “Krka National Park”, the Public Institution “Vrana Lake Nature Park” and the Public Institution “Telašćica Nature Park”.

The project is funded under the Operational Program “Effective Human Resources” 2014-2020 European Social Fund and co-financed by the Office for Non-Governmental Organizations of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
