This Sunday, September 21st, on the eve of World Car-Free Day, the 14th Split Bike Tour will take place. Join us in Đardin from 4 PM for a fun Sunday afternoon. After the cyclists reach the finish line, we’re organizing entertainment for everyone. Read on to find out what activities await—you’re sure to find something for yourself!
Although the official program of the Split Bike Tour starts at 4 PM with the group ride through the city, you can also join spontaneously, even without registering for the ride.
Cyclist registration
We’ll be waiting for you at the starting point in Đardin from 3 PM. Before the group ride begins, all cyclists will gather for registration.
This will also be an opportunity for those who didn’t manage to register online to do so on-site at the Sunce stand!

Those registering on-site should go to the “Registration” stand, while those who registered online should head to the “Online Registration” stand. At the stand, you’ll also receive your raffle ticket, which will be used at the finish line.
Don’t have a bike? No problem! Split Parking provides access to the Nextbike public bike system. All you need to do is download the Nextbike app, register, and activate your account with a €10 payment, then confirm your participation at the Sunce stand. If you are already a registered user of the public bike system, you don’t need to register again, just check in at the organizer’s stand.

The cost of renting a Nextbike for the event (from 3 PM to 9 PM) will be refunded to users who register at the Sunce stand. Just make sure to leave your personal details and the bike number at the info stand.
Ready, set, go!
At exactly 4 PM, we begin our group ride. This year we have a new route, be sure to check it out before the start! The route is approximately 8 km long and both starts and ends in Đardin.

We start from Đardin, heading along Livanjska Street, then turn into Vukovarska Street, followed by Tolstojeva Street. We continue onto Mažuranićevo Promenade and proceed straight into Gundulićeva Street. From there, we turn into Zrinsko-Frankopanska Street towards Poljud and continue straight to Put Supavla. We then turn towards Mike Tripalo Street next to Joker and continue to Domovinskog rata Street. From there, we turn into Hrvatske mornarice Street and ride again towards Poljud. We continue straight along Sedam Kaštela Street to the intersection at Spinut, where we enter Matoševa Street. The route then continues along Kavanjinova Street, followed by Ante Starčevića Street, and back into Gundulićeva Street. At the intersection, we enter Domovinskog rata Street again, continue straight into Livanjska Street, then into Sinjska Street. Finally, we ride along Zagrebačka Street back to the finish line in Đardin.
Together, we will ride through Split and show everyone that alternative modes of transport can absolutely be used in our city, helping to reduce pollution.
Finish line and refreshments – without single-use plastic
We expect cyclists to return to Đardin between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. At the finish line, participants will be welcomed with free refreshments (fruit, healthy snacks, and drinks). Keep in mind that we do not use single-use plastic, so you’ll be drinking from reusable Sunce cups!

A €2 deposit is required for the cup, which will be refunded when you return it. Of course, you can also keep the cup as a souvenir.
Don’t try this at home!
This year again, the cycling club Trotul will join us. Their skilled riders will perform exciting acrobatics. This BMX show might leave some of you breathless, take a look at how it looked last year!

The BMX show will take place in two parts: the first from 5:30 to 5:45 PM, and the second from 6:15 to 6:45 PM.
However, Trotul is not here just for the stunts. Members of the cycling club, led by head coach Andrija Kuvacić, will also hold a BMX workshop for all interested participants. The workshop will take place from 5:45 to 6:15 PM.
Can you hit the center?
Instead of a horse, you’ll have a bike, so do you think you can hit the target? Try your skills in our cycling Alka in Đardin from 5:45 to 6:15 PM, taking place alongside the BMX workshop.

Depending on your score, you can win exciting prizes.
What’s your lucky number?
What’s a celebration without a raffle? The raffle is an essential part of any public event in our region, and the 14th Split Bike Tour is no exception. The draw will take place from 6:30 to 7 PM.

This year, everyone can participate! Cyclists will receive a free raffle ticket at the start, while others can get one with a €2 donation at the Sunce stand.
The prizes are diverse, bring your friends and secure at least one reward!
Become a member of Sunce and enjoy benefits
In Đardin, you’ll also have the opportunity to join our organization. At the Sunce stand, our volunteers and staff will be happy to tell you everything you want to know.
You can learn about volunteering, employment opportunities, internships, and the benefits of Sunce membership.
By becoming a member, you gain access to various discounts with our partners.
Green Phone – report environmental issues
Throughout the event, the Green Phone stand will be available in Đardin. It is a free tool for citizens who want to report environmental issues but don’t know who to contact.

Our staff will provide you with the brochure “Lend your voice to the environment!” and useful information on how to report environmental problems, as well as explain what happens after a report is submitted. If you already know of a specific issue, you can report it on the spot.

Together for a better future of Split
This year’s Split Bike Tour, along with the entire program and prizes, would not be possible without the support of our sponsors and partners.
The City of Split, the Split Tourist Board, Split-Dalmatia County, the Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board, Split Parking, and Promet Split co-finance the organization of the 14th Split Bike Tour and support the promotion of sustainable mobility and a better future for Split.
See you this Sunday in Đardin from 4 PM!
