The 15th Split Bike Tour is getting closer, and this Sunday we’re getting together from 4 PM. We’ll start in front of Palma café on Žnjan and cycle together along temporarily closed roads for approximately 15 kilometres. At around 5 PM, we’ll arrive together at the finish line in Đardin, where a social gathering and plenty of activities will be waiting for us. Read on to find out what you can win and what discounts we have prepared for you.
Registration for the Bike Tour
In recent years, our focus has always been on highlighting that this is an event dedicated to promoting sustainable urban mobility and healthy lifestyles. When you get on your bike, you are doing something good for the environment as well as for your own health. Join us on September 20, but even if you’re not participating on two wheels, we’ll be waiting for you at the final celebration.
First of all, if you haven’t registered online yet, you still can. Register via the following LINK. Registration is open until September 19 at 1 PM!

If you don’t register online, you can register at the Sunce stand on Sunday in front of Palma Beach Bar on Žnjan from 3 PM. We will have two stands: one marked “online registration” and one for “on-site registration.” Once you have registered, you will receive a raffle ticket for the draw held at the finish line.
This year, the raffle also has a charitable purpose. With a voluntary donation, you can get an additional ticket in Đardin, and all donations collected will be used to support the City of Omiš in recovering from the consequences of the recent fire.
While we wait for the Bike Tour to begin, don’t forget to get some exercise in the days beforehand, but also make sure your bicycle is in good working order. If you don’t have your own bike, no problem. All citizens over the age of 18 on the day of the Bike Tour will be able to rent a Nextbike bicycle free of charge between 3 PM and 9 PM, courtesy of Split Parking.

New users need to download the Nextbike app, register and activate their account by making a €10 payment, and then report their participation at the Sunce information stand. Those who already have the app can simply rent a bicycle and report to the information stand. The rental cost for participation in the Split Bike Tour between 3 PM and 9 PM will be refunded to users.
15th Split Bike Tour programme
- 3 PM – Gathering to confirm online registration or register on-site
- 4 PM – Bike Tour starts
We’ll set off on a group ride through the streets of Split. All participants are welcome, regardless of age or fitness level. Children under the age of 14 may participate only when accompanied by a parent, guardian or another responsible adult, while wearing a protective helmet is mandatory for everyone under the age of 16.
Together with the other participants, you will cycle along our route from Žnjan to Đardin, without having to worry about traffic, as the roads will be temporarily closed. However, it is essential to carefully follow the instructions and not overtake the police vehicle leading the group.
- 5:00–5:30 PM – Arrival at the finish line and refreshments
After a leisurely ride, we’ll arrive in Đardin, where free refreshments will be waiting for us, including fruit, healthy snacks and drinks.

As we do not use single-use plastic, please note that drinks will be served in Sunce’s reusable plastic cups, for which a deposit is required. The deposit is €2 and will be refunded when you return the cup. Of course, if you wish, you can keep the cup as a souvenir, in which case the deposit will not be refunded.

One of Sunce’s stands will be dedicated to our youngest visitors. At the STEM workshop, we’ll explore water, the sea and their living world through experiments and play, as well as the threats they face. How does pollution enter the water? What happens when pollutants enter aquatic ecosystems? How do human activities change seas and rivers? And most importantly, can we find solutions?
- 6:30–7:00 PM – Raffle and quiz winner announcement
The evening will conclude with the presentation of the fantastic prizes. Thanks to all our sponsors, we have a wide variety of prizes waiting for you.
