We are organizing the first sustainability festival in Split on April 25th at Pazar (Split marketplace). With the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, this festival brings together numerous partners from the hospitality, tourism, and manufacturing sectors to promote sustainability in action.
Get ready for a true gastronomic experience! Top chefs from famous Split restaurants Makarun, Corto Maltese, and Pandora Greenbox will show you how zero-waste cooking can be delicious and fun. Enjoy creative bites, learn tips for reducing waste in your kitchen, and let them inspire you to cook more sustainably at home. There will also be Mendula with tasty vegan treats, as well as Verdura box and Bioteka with their fresh products.
Attract eco-conscious guests
Would you like to learn how your accommodation can become attractive to eco-conscious travelers? The festival offers an opportunity to get acquainted with our Dalmatia Green certification program for sustainable accommodation. Listen to the experiences of hosts who have already become part of the green story and learn how you can also improve your business.
Sustainable cosmetics and proper waste disposal
Do you consider the environment when it comes to your beauty routine? At the festival, you will have the opportunity to get to know Illirica, which is known for its natural and sustainable products. The team from Garnier will also educate you on the proper disposal of cosmetic waste – because beauty goes hand in hand with caring for the environment.
Creative promotional materials
The festival will have a special green touch thanks to the talented students of the Craft Tehnical School who will create themed promotional materials. At the festival, you’ll find interesting gifts—be among the first guests and make sure to grab a souvenir from the event. You’ll also be able to learn about various ways of producing sustainable promotional materials from the Trotul cycling club, which you probably remember from our Split Biking Tour. You’ll be amazed at what can be made from discarded plastic litter that pollutes the environment. In the hands of creative minds, waste can be transformed into jewelry, sunglasses, and even benches, and you’ll see this at the festival from Maritimo Recycling.
