On September 23, 2018, Sunce is organizing the Split Bicycle Race for the seventh time to mark the European Car Free Day on September 22, 2018. This year, the Split Bicycle Race is organized in cooperation with the Center for Regional Activities of Priority Action Programs (PAP-RAC).
The main intention of the action is to draw citizens’ attention to the problem of car transport and increase the sensitivity of the public to the problem of air pollution in large cities and to offer alternative urban transport. Such and similar events will be held throughout Croatia, and we invite all interested citizens to join us this Sunday and thus mark this important eco date.
The cycling race starts at 4 pm, and upon arrival at the finish line, which is expected at around 5 pm, there will be a special program that includes a raffle, a bicycle alka, a free bicycle service for cycling participants, a pub quiz in the Art Gallery (cafe) and a concert in Đardin. In addition, we have prepared more than 30 individual awards in collaboration with our sponsors and partners and a surprise gift for all participants and refreshments from our sponsors.
