Despite a bad weather forecast last Sunday (21 September), another Split Biking Tour was organized by the Sunce Association in cooperation with the City of Split and on the occasion of the European Day Without a Car (22.09.). The weather has allowed us to ride all the 9 kilometers of the route through the most frequented parts of the city. On this occasion, we would like to thank all the participants of the bicycle tour, officially listed 175, and there were more than 200 informal ones. Also thanks to sponsors and donors: Split City, Split Tourist Board, Biker Magazine, Čistoća Split, Termoing, Mali Luka, Red adventures, Zip line Omis, Extreme bike shop, Peloton center, Mark 2, Makrovega, Ekran, Cian, Andrea hair styling.

We hope that the Split tour has achieved its goal and pointed to the lack of bicycle infrastructure in the city and unrealistically expensive Jadrolinija bicycle transport tickets. The Sunce Association will continue to work to improve the status of cyclists in the town beneath Marjan.
