Within the service “Designing and managing the implementation of volunteer programs for the National Park Mljet” Sunce aims to provide support to the Public Institution National Park Mljet in the evaluation of existing and designing and implementing of new volunteer programs. The main groups of activities include the modeling of volunteer programs, the development of volunteer programs and the development of manuals, and the pilot implementation of three new volunteer programs.
During the execution period (20.05.2019 – 31.12.2020), Sunce processed evaluation questionnaires filled out by volunteers who participated in the volunteer programs of the Public Institution NP Mljet in the period 2016-2019; held a workshop with the employees of the Public Institution NP Mljet for the development of volunteer programs and strengthening the capacity of volunteer coordinators; developed 4 volunteer programs (Drywall restorer – keeper of the past, Builder of hiking trails, Opinion researcher, Caretaker of traditional plants); developed a “Manual for guiding volunteers and volunteer programs of the Public Institution National Park Mljet” and an online questionnaire for volunteers.
