ABC training took place from 18th to 20th October at the Hotel Konavle (\u010cilipi) with the aim of transferring know-how and planning skills to protected areas management.<\/p>\n
Training itself is part of the project “Mapping, monitoring <\/a>and management of the cross-border Natura 2000 network at sea – 4M”, which aims to foster cooperation in the cross-border area.<\/p>\n Through lectures and work in groups, the participants worked on the following topics:<\/p>\n nature protection system in Croatia and Montenegro, <\/p>\n During the three days active participation was attended by representatives of: Public Enterprise for Management of Montenegro<\/a>, Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro<\/a>, Ecological Society of Montenegro<\/a>, the Municipality of Kotor<\/a>, the City of Dubrovnik<\/a>, the Department of Environmental Protection of Dubrovnik Neretva County<\/a>, the Nature Park of Lastovo<\/a>, Public Institutions Lokrum Reserves<\/a> as well as representatives of project partners Green Home<\/a>, Montenegrin Environmental Protection Agency<\/a>, Public Institutions for the Management of Protected Areas of Nature of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County<\/a> and the Sunce Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n The project is funded under the Croatia-Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Program (IPA II b 2012\/2013). The total value of the project is EUR 333,253.39, and the EU finances the project with EUR 283,265.39.
