(24 months)<\/p>\n<p>Budget: 225.661,87 \u20ac<\/p>\n<p>Financial support: EU (90%) under the Grant Scheme Strengthening Support to Civil Society Organizations to Increase Transparency and Good Public Administration Management in Croatia in the Implementation of I Component IPA 2011 (National Program for Croatia under the IPA &#8211; Component &#8220;Assistance in Transition and institution building &#8220;for 2011) and Office for NGOs.<\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">The project is implemented by following partners: <a href=\"https:\/\/eko-pan.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eko Pan &#8211; Karlovac<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/\">Association of Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development <\/a>Sunce &#8211; Split, <a href=\"http:\/\/zmergo.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Association \u017dmergo Opatija<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eu-krka-knin.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ecological Association &#8220;Krka&#8221; Knin<\/a>, Eco Association Franjo Ko\u0161\u010dec, <a href=\"http:\/\/nobilis.hr\/english-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ZEO Nobilis &#8211; Ecological Organization<\/a>, with collaborators on the project:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ekozadar.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eco Zadar<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.zeleni-osijek.hr\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Green Osijek<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zelena-istra.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Green Istria<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Project area: <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The Republic of Croatia with a focus on Karlovac County, Split-Dalmatia County, County of Dubrovnik-Neretva, County of \u0160ibenik-Knin, County of Me\u0111imurje, Vara\u017edin County, County of Lika-Senj, County of Primorje-Gorski kotar, Koprivni\u010dko-kri\u017eeva\u010dka County, Krapinsko -Zagorje County.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><em><strong>The general objective of the project is to build a strong partnership and effective long-term cooperation between citizens, local and state authorities and civil society organizations involved in environmental and nature protection.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><strong><span lang=\"en\">Specific goals:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Build project partners for active participation in solving environmental problems <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Promote transparency and of local and state authorities and co-operate with them <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Educate citizens about &#8220;know-how&#8221; and opportunities for active participation in environmental and nature protection\u00a0 <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Contribute to addressing specific local environmental and nature related problems <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Encourage cooperation between the public and state sectors<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The project includes the following activities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collecting data on the structure, methods, procedures and means for the work of local and state authorities, and identifying problems and obstacles to the effectiveness of field work<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of capacity building programs (workshops and activities) for CSOs related to environmental and nature protection<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of capacity building programs (workshops and activities) for local and state authorities related to environmental and nature\u00a0protection<\/li>\n<li>Radio broadcasts on the possibilities of active participation in environmental and nature\u00a0protection<\/li>\n<li>Publication on active participation in environmental and nature protection<\/li>\n<li>Regular work of the Green Phone Network in Karlovac, and these Croatian\u00a0<span lang=\"en\">County&#8217;s:\u00a0<\/span>Splitsko-dalmatinska, Dubrova\u010dko-neretvanska, \u0160ibenik-Knin, Me\u0111imurje, Vara\u017edin, Lika-Senj and Primorje-Gorski Kotar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Expected results:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Created and published publication \/ detailed analysis of <\/span>fieldwork effectiveness of local and state authorities (transparency level, human resources, adoption of principles of good governance, success of achieving the right to access the information, organization of public hearings, environmental impact assessments, etc.)<\/li>\n<li id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Prijevod\"><span lang=\"en\">Increased knowledge of &#8220;know-how&#8221;
