Association Sunce in the role of project leader will cooperate for the next 7 months with project partners Dalmatia EKO and Ecological Association &#8220;Krka&#8221; Knin.<\/p>\n<p>Main objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To raise awareness about sustainable tourism development among the private tourist accommodation owners in Split-Dalmatia County and \u0160ibenik-Knin County.<\/li>\n<li>To implement Dalmatia Green eco certification program for small tourist accommodation facilities and rural holiday homes.<\/li>\n<li>To improve visibility and competitiveness of Dalmatia Green certified accommodations and list them on Ecobnb &#8211; international platform for booking of sustainable accommodations.<\/li>\n<li>To develop cooperation between Dalmatia Green accommodation providers, local &amp; organic producers and providers of sustainable activities (e.g. eco tours, yoga retreats, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Dalmatia Green certification program will connect, educate and certify owners of small tourist accommodations, who recognized the necessity of sustainable tourism development and want to transform their business into &#8216;greener&#8217; direction.<\/p>\n<p>During the project, Dalmatia Green website will be launched. It will combine Dalmatian tourism offer in harmony with nature and local communities, to inform guests about possibility of authentic eco-friendly holidays. Website will provide information about Dalmatia Green certified small accommodations, small &amp; family-run green hotels, eco-friendly activities, local and organic producers, local restaurants and unique, hand-made souvenirs.<\/p>\n<p>Public presentations for accommodation providers and organic producers will be organized in \u0160ibenik-Knin County and Split-Dalmatia County. Participants will be informed about Dalmatia Green certification program and innovative practices combining sustainable tourism and organic agriculture into high value tourism products.<\/p>\n<p>Educational workshop on innovative eco-marketing techniques will be organized for &#8221;green&#8221; accommodation providers.
