On April 5, 2016, at the Faculty of Economics, Split, a project of the Sunce “Students learn about civic engagement – socially useful learning in the protection of nature and the environment”<\/a><\/strong> was held in Split.<\/p>\n

The workshop was attended by teachers from the Faculty of Economics<\/strong><\/a>, the Faculty of Chemical Technology<\/strong><\/a>, the Faculty of Philosophy<\/strong><\/a> and the University Department of Marine Studies<\/strong><\/a> from the University of Split<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The workshop informed the project partners about the project activities as well as the content and goals of the study trip to Germany; which will be held in June this year.<\/p>\n

The main interests of the faculties are defined and the core ideas of the Service-Learning program are presented, which will be carried out in cooperation between Sunce and the faculties.<\/p>\n

As part of the workshop, participants were introduced to Sustainable Waste Management<\/strong> and Sustainable Tourism<\/strong>, focusing on the content of Student Service-Learning programs, and the Sunce<\/strong>‘s experience in carrying out similar educational activities was presented.<\/p>\n
