{"id":2414,"date":"2015-10-30T13:51:00","date_gmt":"2015-10-30T13:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sunce.itlaganini.org\/en\/study-visit-to-neusiedler-see-seewinkel-ferto-hansag-national-par\/"},"modified":"2017-11-20T19:09:29","modified_gmt":"2017-11-20T19:09:29","slug":"study-visit-to-neusiedler-see-seewinkel-ferto-hansag-national-par","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/news\/study-visit-to-neusiedler-see-seewinkel-ferto-hansag-national-par\/","title":{"rendered":"Study visit to Neusiedler See-Seewinkel &#038; Fert\u0151-Hans\u00e1g National Par"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As an educative part of the <strong>SEA-Med project<\/strong>, a study visit to Austrian National park Neusiedler See- Seewinkel and Hungarian National park Fert\u00f6-Hans\u00e1g was organized from <strong>19 till 23 October 2015.<\/strong> Nature Park Lastovo Islands and Tela\u0161\u010dica&#8217;s employees and local community representatives gathered, to learn more about <strong>best practices<\/strong> in <strong>cooperation<\/strong> between the <strong>public<\/strong> and <strong>private sectors<\/strong> in the <strong>management of the protected area<\/strong>. \u00a0They also found out more about Nature parks development as a destination for<strong> sustainable tourism<\/strong>, based on local production and promotion of natural and cultural values.<\/p>\n<p>First part of the study visit was based on lectures about <strong>visitors <\/strong>and<strong> habitat management<\/strong>, education programs for tourists and schools, promotional activities for the local community and <strong>destination marketing<\/strong>, Leader+ local action group tasks for <strong>rural development<\/strong> and <strong>transboundary cooperation<\/strong> with Hungarian National park. \u00a0Second part was based on a guided<strong> fieldtrip<\/strong> to the National park, where participants saw unique landscape with vast meadows and pastures, salt ponds, with a rich variety of bird and plant species.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the study visit, each participant obtained new <strong>educational experience<\/strong> and expanded his\/hers <strong>social network<\/strong>.
