{"id":2395,"date":"2015-06-03T10:17:00","date_gmt":"2015-06-03T10:17:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sunce.itlaganini.org\/en\/third-regional-workshop-of-sea-med-project\/"},"modified":"2017-12-20T12:07:51","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T12:07:51","slug":"third-regional-workshop-of-sea-med-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/news\/third-regional-workshop-of-sea-med-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Third regional workshop of SEA-MED project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/hr\/projekti\/projekt-sea-med-razvoj-odrzivih-gospodarskih-aktivnosti-u-morskim-zasticenim-podrucjima\"><strong>SEA-MED<\/strong><\/a> Project Capacity Development Program, the <a href=\"http:\/\/mediterranean.panda.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>WWF Mediterranean Program<\/strong><\/a> organized the <strong>3rd Regional Training Workshop on Sustainable Tourism in Marine Protected Areas<\/strong>. The workshop was held in <strong>Turkey (Kas)<\/strong> in the period from <strong>10th to 15th of May 2015<\/strong>. with the participation of representatives of all the participating countries in the project implementation (Albania, Algeria, Croatia, Tunisia and Turkey) and expert guidance of <strong>NOAA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the <strong>Capacity Development Program<\/strong> is to strengthen the skills and abilities of experts for marine protected areas, by providing them with the tools and knowledge needed to improve their day-to-day management.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, the processes of making <strong>sustainable tourism<\/strong> plans in some parks were presented in order to identify the greatest challenges and their possible common solutions in order to strengthen the implementation of the Plan itself.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the last two days of training workshop was focused on <strong>marketing and communication<\/strong>.
