As much as 40% of mixed municipal waste is biowaste, and the GG-02 composter provides a solution.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 13, 2023, Sunce, together with InterZero<\/a>, introduced a composting device that can be used within different facilities, depending on the amount of biowaste they produce per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation was attended by 22 participants coming from different sectors. The presentation covered the promotion of different composters but special emphasis was placed on the home composter, composter GG \u2013 02<\/strong>, its specifications, installation and operational mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants had the opportunity to see the COMPOSTER GG \u2013 02, as well as the substrate it creates, which can later be used. Composter GG-02 is considered an excellent device for processing biowaste on-site, whether it is a kindergarten or school kitchen, student cafeteria, hospital, nursing home or catering facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 It is important to reduce the amount of biowaste in mixed municipal waste, and soon it will be a legal obligation. Our composter not only solves the problem of excessive waste but also contributes to preserving the environment and fosters awareness of sustainability. \u2013 Robert Sedlar<\/strong> said \u201cInterzero\u201d company representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants were also interested in larger devices for use within their institutions\/companies, i.e. devices that have a daily capacity for larger quantities of biowaste. Through the presentation of good practice, Margita Radman<\/strong>, Head of The Department of Education and Information in Sunce, emphasized that direct disposal of biowaste in the kitchen not only provides convenience but represents a real transformation for restaurateurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 This innovative practice is not only a step towards sustainability but also a key component of improving business processes, thus confirming the growing interest in environmentally responsible business in the hospitality sector. \u2013 Radman emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n

The presentation was attended by representatives of \u201cRadost\u201d kindergarten, Elementary School Brda, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Split, Home for the Elderly and Disabled Split, as well as representatives of Parks and plantations and catering facilities such as Villa Vinea, Hotel Rotondo, Hotel Time and independent craftsmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation of the device was organized by the Association for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development \u201cSunce\u201d through the LIFE Artina<\/a> project. The project is co-financed by the LIFE Program of the European Union, the Office for Cooperation with NGOs of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund.
