Partners Municipality of Larino, Associations <a href=\"https:\/\/permakultura-dalmacija.hr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Permakultura Dalmacija<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/udruga-za-prirodu-okolis-i-odrzivi-razvoj-sunce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Association for nature, environment and sustainable development &#8211; Sunce<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.igiardinidipomona.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I giardini di Pomona<\/a>, from Italy and Croatia, came together in Ostuni for the kick-off meeting. After getting to know the partners, we jointly agreed on upcoming activities as part of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>WP1 <em>Cross-border exchange and training on sustainable agricultural models and practices<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>WP2 <em>Pilot activities for the involvement of the local community in the preservation of agricultural biodiversity<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be joined by teachers and students of Bra\u0107a Radi\u0107 Secondary School, Ka\u0161tel \u0160tafili\u0107 and Ostrog Primary School, Ka\u0161tel Luk\u0161i\u0107. Two representatives participated with us in the first activity in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We devoted the second day to visiting the botanical garden<strong> I giardini di Pomona<\/strong>, which was founded by Paolo Belloni back in 1994. The garden is in Cisternino, on 10 hectares of organic land management, where nature conservation and rich diversity come together in sustainable harmony.
