Pa\u0161ticada, but without meat? Yes, this is possible and it is very tasty!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to try out for yourself the innovative sauce designed and made by high school students, come to Prva Vidilica on May 7. (St. Domnius\u2019s Day) at 11 a.m<\/strong>. Vegan pa\u0161ticada<\/strong>, officially known as \u00c0 la Pa\u0161ticada<\/strong>, will be sold at promotional prices at the kiosk of the Marjan Society<\/strong>, which was renovated by Split students after 50 years. You can buy vegan pa\u0161ticada in a jar or as part of a gift package consisting of a wooden box with two jars of pa\u0161ticada, a kitchen cloth with a product logo and a recipe booklet.<\/p>\n\n\n

This special pa\u0161ticada was created within the framework of a project implemented by the Association Sunce to strengthen entrepreneurial skills in young people: \u00a0Green Student Enterprises \u2013 Entrepreneurial Thinking and Actions<\/a>. Our idea at the beginning was for partner schools to make one product each, but the students connected so well that they decided to make one mutual product. \u2013 Margita Radman, Head of the Department of Education and Information of the Association Sunce, explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By joining forces, each of the three schools that participated in the project contributed to the final appearance of the product. Thus, the students of the High School Bra\u0107a Radi\u0107 from Ka\u0161tel \u0160tafili\u0107 made the vegan sauce, the Craft Technical School Split made a wooden box for the gift package, and the School of Design, Graphics and Sustainable Construction was mostly in charge of the visual part, from the logo, kitchen cloth and cookbook to photos of the product and design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the process, from the development of an entrepreneurial idea to its realization, the students were led by an experienced team of employees of the Association Sunce and representatives of the Cidrani team<\/a>, the Croatian Association of School Cooperatives <\/strong>and ImpactHub.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 I am especially pleased that not only did we design our own product, but also when we encountered challenges in the production itself, we faced them. This introduced us to the adult world and taught us how to face the challenges that lie ahead in life and how to deal with worries and responsibility \u2013 said student Paula Jajac, a student at the School of Design, Graphics and Sustainable Construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 They should be further commended because they have restored the stone kiosk of the Marjan Society by themselves. Together with us and the volunteers, they\u2019ve put their valuable hands to work and took up grinding, painting and varnishing to prepare this locale, located in the most beautiful part of Split, for business \u2013 says Miranda \u0160imac, project manager at the Association Sunce and collaborator on the project Sustainable Student Enterprises in High Schools<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
