{"id":14239,"date":"2021-12-02T12:52:41","date_gmt":"2021-12-02T11:52:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/?p=14239"},"modified":"2025-01-20T14:46:25","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T13:46:25","slug":"presentation-of-activities-and-results-of-the-department-of-education-and-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/news\/presentation-of-activities-and-results-of-the-department-of-education-and-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of educational activities &#8211; Department of Education and Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Employees of the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/about-sunce\/departments\/education-and-information-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Association Sunce Department of Education and Information<\/a> <\/strong>on Saturday, November 27th, 2021. participated in the <em>Educational-Professional Conference \u201cNature Protection and Conservation and Application in Education and Schooling<\/em>&#8221; organized by <strong>Natura Jadera &#8211; Public Institution for Management of Protected Areas in Zadar County.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The co-organizers of the conference were: <strong>Department of Teacher Education, University of Zadar <\/strong>and&nbsp; <strong>Department of Teacher Education in Gospi\u0107, University of Zadar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>45 participants participated at the on-line lecture via Zoom, among whom were representatives of public institutions for the management of protected areas, representatives of educational institutions and representatives of the civil sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Association Sunce <\/strong>educators presented: <em>The role of the civil sector in education on nature protection and conservation &#8211; educational activities of the Association<\/em> <em>Sunce<\/em> and <em>Examples of good practice of the Association Sunce &#8211; non-formal education for preschool and school-age on nature protection and conservation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through short lectures, educational activities such as educational programs for children, teachers and educators and educational activities for students were presented, with special emphasis on the implementation of <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/join-in\/service-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Service-learning program<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through the examples of good practice, the accent was placed on the presentation of the activities and results of projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/vijesti_en\/life-artina-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LIFE Artina &#8211; &#8220;Seabird Conservation Network in the Adriatic&#8221;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/sunce-st.org\/en\/uncategorized\/volunteer-for-nature-volunteer-for-yourself-school-volunteer-programs-in-protected-areas-of-nature\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VOLUNTEER FOR NATURE, VOLUNTEER FOR YOURSELF!
