Waste and greenery in focus of Advisory Board

The Environmental Council of the City of Split, founded within the framework of the “Together for Nature and Environment” project, strengthened by the seven new members, was held for the second time on June 18, 2014, with the aim of selecting the environmental problems that are priorities for solving in the city of Split.

After a day-long meeting that was conducted in the form of a workshop, the members of the Council said:

  • Waste management in a wider sense (separate collection, composting, Karepovac) and
  • Green area of Split and Marjan
    as priorities for the members of the Council to work on through 2014 and 2015.

The work of the Council will result in recommendations for successful resolution of the problems that arise regarding the selected priorities, to be presented to the City Council of Split.
