The Assembly of the Sunce Association accepted the Work Report for 2020
The annual assembly of the Sunce Split Association, at which the Work Report for 2020 was adopted, was held on June 10th 2021 via the zoom platform. 17 members participated, of which 14 are active.
Executive Director and Head of the Environmental Protection Program Gabrijela Medunić-Orlić and the President of the Management Board and Head of the Nature Protection Program Zrinka Jakl presented a summary of the Work Report for 2020, after which Gabrijela Medunić-Orlić presented a draft proposal of the Strategic Plan for 2021 until 2026.
Last year was rated as a year of adjustment and change, and the pandemic affected all aspects of the organization’s work. It guided us towards new methods and ways of working and acting: namely, we had to adapt a multitude of activities and projects so that they could be implemented at all. The Association was expected to have a high level of creativity, readiness for new challenges, learning and constant change, and a stable and responsible team. Furthermore, the pandemic accelerated the already started adjustment to online and out-of-office work, but also contributed to further reorganization and improvement of the organization.
After the presentation, the vote took place on the adoption of the draft proposal of the Work Report for 2020 and the Strategic Plan for the period from 2021 to 2026. Both documents were unanimously accepted.
Active members were informed about the conducted Self-Assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of the functioning of the financial management and control system of non-profit organizations through the Report on Work for 2020.
