Seminar for young people

The Association Sunce organized a seminar on “Active participation of young people in the nature and environment protection and sustainable development” in March 2015. The participants of the seminar were students (FFST, KTF, BEM and EFST) and young unemployed persons and the workshops included 20 participants.

The aim of the seminar was to educate young people, motivate them and encourage environmentally responsible behavior and active citizenship.

The seminar for young people consisted of 3 one-day workshops and 1 two-day workshop with the following topics:

1. Healthy Food – Chemical Pollution of Food/Active Participation, 07.03.2015.

The project was co-financed in the school year 2013/2014. by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports and in the school year 2014/2015. by the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.

The youth seminar is part of the two-year project “Participate in Sustainable Development” of the Association for Nature, Environment and Sustainable Development Sunce. The project is implemented in partnership with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Umwelterziehung (DGU) German institution and is funded by the German Foundation Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU).
