With great pleasure we present you a Handbook for school and extracurricular work with children and youth Participate in Sustainable Development – Understanding – Implementing – Creating.
Before writing of the handbook there was full range of project activities in order to increase knowledge. In the end the handbook contains theoretical and practical knowledge related to simple participatory learning methods, simple and more complicated Service-Learning projects and sustainable student companies. Examples are from the Croatia and Germany.
The handbook was developed in three languages: German, English
, which will allow the examples of good practice for working with children and youth, expand outside Croatian borders.
|It is intended primarily for teachers of Primary and Secondary schools and for all those who work with children and youth, and want to understand and contribute to education for sustainable development, especially the development of active citizenship and responsible attitude towards nature and the environment.
We invite you to use it in both professional and private life (in school and / or in the local community) and that children and young people understand I spend the principles of sustainable development in the protection of nature and environment and thus at least some shape society in a spirit of sustainable development.
