Invitation to the roundtable discussion “Preservation of the Marine Environment and Coastal Area”

We invite you to participate in a roundtable discussion titled Preservation of the Marine Environment and Coastal Areas in Croatia.

Split-Dalmatia County and the Association for Nature, Environment, and Sustainable Development Sunce, within the project Green Phone – Lend Your Voice to the Environment, are organizing a roundtable discussion on the protection of the marine environment and coastal areas. Citizen reports to the Green Phone indicate that this is an issue that requires greater attention and constructive discussion.

The roundtable discussion will take place on October 16, 2023, at 11 am in the Croatian Chamber of Economy Council Chamber on the 1st floor, at the address Obala Ante Trumbića 4, Split.

Will the new Maritime Domain and Seaports Act prevent issues concerning interventions at the beaches? How can we mitigate the impact of tourism on the environment? Our panelists and representatives from various sectors will, together with you, exchange ideas and strategies for the preservation of the sea.
