The property dates back several centuries and was originally a family home that was reconstructed according to an ecological concept to reduce the environmental impact. During the renovation process, they used completely traditional materials and old stone blocks, with the application of old manual construction technology on rocks and stone blocks. The interior and exterior furniture are mostly made of natural materials and the apartments are equipped with fabrics such as cotton and linen.
Apartments Kate take sustainability seriously, which is why they have their own composting plant and they have replaced conventional chemical-based cleaners with environmentally friendly cleaning methods that procure and produce their own based on essential oils and fruit acids.
