Environmental protection and sustainable development program

Through the Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development Program, strategic goals are pursued regarding the promotion of principles and practices that contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development and the strengthening of knowledge and skills in this area.

The program is primarily oriented to the projects and fields of work, that contributes to:

  • development and promotion of the implementation of responsible public policy on environmental protection at the local and national level
  • better information and participation of the public on issues related to environmental protection and the application of the principles of sustainable development

  • improve the implementation of sustainable waste management at the level of the city of Split and Dalmatia, based on the principles of reducing waste generation, re-using and recycling

  • development of sustainable tourism

Plastic Smart Cities Croatia Dubrovnik
